Arriving before Departure
There is a quiet revolution that happens in the later years of life — if we allow it. Not the revolution of protest, but the revolution of awareness. The very time that the world tends to dismiss as “decline” is, in truth, the greatest opportunity for inner growth.
These workshops are born from that paradox, and from a sense of humour about it. As one participant described it, aging has become something of a new hobby — it takes up so much of one’s time! We say this with laughter, because laughter is not a denial of the last lap of life, but perhaps its most honest companion.
Osho’s teachings offer a radical reframe: old age is not a problem to be solved, but a doorway to be entered. The East, unlike the West, has long understood that old age can be synonymous with wisdom — but only if the life that preceded it was lived with awareness.
“Old age in the East has been synonymous with wisdom.”
— Osho
These workshops bring together meditation, group sharing, and Osho’s words as mirrors. They are not therapy. They are not lectures. They are spaces of honest encounter with the self, with others, and with the great mystery that awaits us all.
